If you want to shed body fat in a fast but safe fashion, you probably need some help determining what foods to eat and what to avoid. There are some diet plans that make you avoid carbs like the plague, but if you want to shedbody fat, there are plenty of carbohydrates, which are actually helpful.
As a rule of thumb, carbohydrate sources that are the closest to their natural form are your best bets to shed body fat fast. Basically, you’re looking for carbs that can be tossed into your plate directly from the source.
Deciding on the carbs that are the best, fat burning choice is a complex process so consider the following as well:
Refined carbohydrates won’t help you shed body fat in any way. Anything with high sugar content and/or made with white flour can be classified as refined carbohydrates.
Refined carbohydrates create havoc with blood sugar levels, contain minimal nutritional value, and instead of helping you shed body fat they will make you pile on more pounds.
On the other hand, veggies are great when you are trying to shed body fat. They are low in calories but have a very high fiber content. You can eat as many vegetables as you want without having to worry about crossing your calorie allowance for the day.
Fruits are only okay if you are eating three or fewer servings each day. The carbohydrates in the fruits are fast releasing and are absorbed rather quickly into the bloodstream; however, if eaten earlier in the day they can help shedbody fat.
