Business Cards – Simple and To The Point
The last thing you want to do when handing out your business card is to create more questions about what your business does. Many card designers will encourage you to awe and inspire people with a rather radical or non-traditional design when in reality this type of card is often seen as annoying and confusing.
To develop your card ideas, begin by creating a simple tag line. This tag line should capture the essence of your business and be something that conveys to people that you are a leader in your field. Keep it short, to the point and catchy but make sure that it is something that is easy to remember.
Photos are being used more and more on business cards because people tend to remember visuals over text. For example, if you are a dog groomer, having a photograph of a great looking dog on your card is something that will stick in people’s minds, which will create a lasting impression. Having the right image on your card will encourage people to read the description on the card regarding your business. Be sure not to clutter your card with many contact numbers. Generally speaking, including only your email address and phone number is enough so avoid including your fax or cell phone number. Simplicity is the key so do not be tempted to over-do it.
